Integral Bodywork® is a method for the Transformation of Consciousness. It is about re-connecting to the Infinite Potential of Being by restoring an individual’s structural integrity through release of the body’s matrix of connective tissue.
As this 10 Session process unfolds, the bodymind moves towards increased awareness, clarity, alignment, flexibility and spaciousness. A more natural condition of being is encouraged and various discomforts of long standing begin to shift and ease.
Integral Bodywork® can be highly effective in providing long-lasting relief from chronic pain and can also tremendously expedite the release of trauma of all kinds.
The synergy between Integral Bodywork® and other forms of self development and creative endeavor is truly remarkable. It can richly enhance one’s practice of yoga, meditation, martial arts, or dance as well as inspire new creative expression in any of the fine or performing arts.
Integral Bodywork® can result in:
- rejuvenation
- reduction of pain
- improved posture and alignment
- increased mobility and flexibility
- increased breath capacity
- increased awareness, lightness, space and freedom in the bodymind
Integral Bodywork® can be beneficial for:
- spinal conditions: scoliosis, lordosis, kyphosis

Gratitude
Integral Bodywork® is dedicated to our teachers, without whom this method would not exist. We are often filled with a sense of awe and wonder at how blessed we have been to have trained under them and to have received so much.
Tanouye Tenshin Rotaishi showed us the Way and insisted that we realize our True Potential.
William “Dub” Leigh shared Ida Rolf’s 10 Session method with us and inspired us to explore deeper in the bodymind.
Toyoda Tenzan Rokoji supported the development of this work and provided us with a living example of “a natural man”.
Hosokawa Dogen Roshi patiently fostered our ripening “zen mind” and provided validation for our own developing understanding of “hara”.
We also acknowledge with deep appreciation:
Audrey Nakamura who through her example, instruction and tireless support of and collaboration with Dub Leigh helped Zentherapy® coalesce and develop.
Bruce Loebach was my business/practice partner for 10 years. Our trading bodywork, sharing insights and mutual support have been instrumental in the development of Integral Bodywork®.
Ximena Prudencio was a steadfast pillar of support and collaboration during the formative stages of Integral Bodywork®. Without her help on so many levels the sharing of this work would not occur. Ximena is solely responsible for accomplishing the daunting task of creating and producing our training manuals.
We dedicate our efforts to future generations of both practitioners and clients. May we all come to realize that our lives are Rainbows.
